Can I order a sample of the invitation I want?
Yes, you can! Please fill out the Sample Order Form. A sample will be emailed to you within three business days.

Can I change the colors or fonts?
Color change is complimentary, and reccomended! We are happy to color-match for you. Please provide a virtual color swatch for us to match. Keep in mind, though, that colors vary monitor to monitor and from printer to printer. The best way to ensure that the color is to your liking is by test-printing your file.

The fonts for each of our wedding invitations and accessories were very carefully chosen to compliment the style of the design. While font changing is not reccomended, it can be done for a $15 upgrade fee.

When can I expect my first proof?
The design process does not begin until payment has been received, and all necessary information has been provided. You can expect your first proof within five business days of all information being submitted.

You can expect to recieve any revisions within three business days.

A total of three proofs are included in your purchase: The initial proof, and two revisions. While additional revisions are available, they incur a $35 fee per proof.

Can I include a photo on my birth announcement? What kind of photo do you need?
Absolutely! What better way to share your babys first photo with family and friends?!
We request JPGs of your newborn photo(s) at 300DPI. Anything with a lower resolution is not guaranteed to print correctly. In addition, we require a print-release form from your professional photographer (if one was used) granding us permission to use (and your permission to print!) your childs image in our design work.

Ideally, your wedding invitations should be mailed 6 to 8 weeks before your wedding date. To allow for our standard turn-around -time (5 business days for your first proof) and the printing process (dependent upon your print method), and addressing your envelopes, we reccomend ordering your invitations and matching accessories at least four months prior to your wedding date.

When should I order my announcements or party invitations?
Your birth announcements can be ordered as soon as you're ready!

PARTY INVITATIONS

To allow for our standard turn-around time (5 business days for your first proof) and the printing process (dependent upon your print method), and addressing your envelopes, we reccomend ordering your party invitations and matching accessories at least 6 weeks in advance.

How are your files set up? How do I know they are compatible with my printer?
All of our photo invitations and announcements are sent as print-ready JPEGs.
All of Wedding Stationery are sent as print-ready PDFs.
We use CMYK color method, and files do not include full-bleed.

We are happy to send the file as a password-protected PDF, include full bleed or match PMS colors, but this request must be made before the design process begins.
Therefore, it is important to choose your print-method (and learn your printers requirements) prior to making a purchase.
A $35 fee per file is assessed to change bleed or color method after the design process has begun.

We are happy to share .EPS or .AI files directly with your printer.

How do I print my invitations?
There are three basic print methods for DIY invitations

Print At Home
This print method is the most economical, but may be the most time consuming and challenging. This print method allows you to have complete control over paper selection.
You will be responsible for:
- purchasing paper
- purchasing ink
- purchasing envelopes
- cutting/trimming all paper to size, after it has been printed
- invitation assembly

While at-home printing may sound like a daunting task, it certainly has its advantages. First, you have complete control over your paper selection. I reccomend ordering paper samples before making a bulk purchase, and doing a test-print on your home printer to make sure you are happy with your paper selection & to double check that your printer is compatible with the paper you'd like to use. Secondly, you do not have a minimum-purchase requirement. That is, you can print 5 or 500 invitations for only the cost of the design, the paper, and the ink.

Local Printing, Staples, Fed Ex/Kinkos, or a local mom&pop shop
This print method is slightly more expensive, but doesn't require very much DIY effort.
You will be responsible for:
- browsing their paper selection, and choosing a paper
- sending the files to the printer to be printed
- purchasing envelopes
- cutting/trimming all paper to size, after it has been printed* [see if your printer will do this for you!!]
- invitation assembly
- learning the requirements of their print method, and passing this information along to me

While this method will certainly save you the headache of printing at home, it does have its limitations. First, you will be limited to the in-stock paper that they carry. Some, but not all, printers will allow you to bring in your own paper -- giving you slighly more control, but be sure to check that their printers are compatible with your choice of paper. Similar to printing at home, there are no minimum print requirements. Some, but not all, printers offer cutting services.

Online Printing, UPrinting, Vista Print, Zazzle, Overnight Prints, Cards and Pockets, etc
While online printers can offer a very competitive price and usually, a quick turn-around time, you will be limited to the paper choices and paper sizes that they each offer. Similar to Local Printing, each online print-shop will have their own sets of requirements. It's very imporant to learn their requirements before making a purchase, so a compatible file can be sent to you.
You will be responsible for:
- browsing their paper selection, and choosing a paper
- browsing their paper size selection, and informing me of their file requirements>br> - sending the files to the printer to be printed
- purchasing envelopes
- invitation assembly
- learning the requirements of their print method, and passing this information along to me

Most online printers have a minimum order requirement, usually in multiples of 25.

Only JPEG files can be uploaded to online print services like Shutterfly, Walgreens, Target, etc. These files will be printed like a picture, similar to the ones you print from your family vacation. This is a very economical print-method, as invitations and announcements can be made for as little as 13c each!!
